Alex & Sam's Easley Winery Engagements

I love beer. Honestly. I love the smell, I love hop profiles, I love brewing it, I love its nuances, and of course I love to enjoy it. Wine... not so much. Maybe its because the last time I really had wine I wasn't even old enough to drink it. However I love the culture around wine. It's very mature and feels refined where as the beer culture is more industrial. Growing up so close to Napa whenever I would walk into a winery there was something intangible that just made it feel so comfortable. Like the dummy I am I didn't think wine was produced outside of select regions of California, Oregon, Washington, and... France. Little did I know that not only is there a beautiful winery in our own downtown Indianapolis BUT there are a lot more wineries all around the midwest! Alex and Sam were absolutely incredible! Not only did they jump on the idea they were rockstars as we walked around the Lockerbie Square area of downtown Indy. Neither of us had ever been to the area and we were in awe of its charm and beauty which seemed to perfectly embrace this hole in the wall winery!
