Jacob and Nicole's engagement session almost didn't happen thanks to the unpredictable force of nature that is summer rainstorms in Indiana. When their session had started, it was still raining but Nicole and Jacob are the worlds best troopers and said "If your camera will survive the rain, we will too!" so we adventured off into the woods and I'm so glad we did because their engagement photos turned out incredible!
Riss & Ryan's Perfect Fall Time Engagement Session
Riss and Ryan are one of those couples you immediately feel comfortable around. They are fun, not afraid to laugh at themselves when a bug flies close to them and they freak out, and also know what plants you can boil down and turn into a delicious tea. All valuable skills in life. We had an incredible on such a beautiful fall afternoon walking around Eagle Creek State Park on the east side of Indianapolis. I cant wait for their winter wedding this January!

Torsten & Trish's Fall Eagle Creek State Park Engagement Session
Torsten and Trish are exactly who I think of when I hear the phrase Young Professionals now. Both working on separate very demanding careers yet happy to take time regularly come out into the vast beautiful nature to decompress with the help of their 3 legged Pomeranian Ted. Eagle Creek State Park was the perfect location for their engagement session. It's a beautiful park they feel comfortable in and Ted was happy with the 10 million new smells with every step along the trail.

Nick & Lorraine's Rained Out Engagements
I was worried before Nick & Lorraine's engagement session. Heavy rain had been called for in the forecast. I asked if they wanted to reschedule and like the bad asses they are, they decided to press their luck. When we showed up to the Stone Creek Lodge in Crawfordsville, the skies could not have been more perfect but quickly they turned. The rain came on quick, it was no sprinkle that turned heavy, it was like that scene in Forest Gump where he says it was like someone just turned on the the rain. But instead of dread, excitement came over both Nick and Lorraine's faces. It's times like these Im glad I switched to a weather resistant camera system to get such unique shots for the two of them.
