A few months ago my mom called me and broke some serious news that she would be putting a for sale sign in the front yard of my childhood home and moving to Arizona where she will bask in the oppressively hot... I mean warm and beautiful sun. So guess who she called to help her pack up all of my childhood memories? You guessed it!
When I found out I was going to be heading back for a couple days I knew I wanted a few photos at the beach. It was such a huge part of my childhood. Hell, my first job was working at Lawsons Landing, the only costal RV campground in California.
So when I was trying to figure out who I would beg to let me take their photos in historic and world famous Bodega Bay, two people came to mind. I worked with Cody at Lawsons Landing back when I was in high school. Just from being friends on Facebook, Ive been able to see his relationship with his girlfriend Megan from the very start and even though I had never meet her before our photos; I felt like we were all friends.
Even though the photos might look like it was a warm and beautiful evening, only half of that statement is true. The all too common gail force winds that rip threw northern California beaches were no stranger this night. After just 30 minutes we were all wishing we had brought gloves to keep warm.
I had a great time seeing and catching up with these two. They are both so much fun together and I know their future has nothing but amazing things in store for them!
