I love a nice warm summer day. During the Indianapolis Summer, there is always something to do. Your day could be filled with an outdoor concert, day festivals, or just enjoying the peace of laying out in the sun. But like everything else, you CAN have too much of a good thing. Don't let the photos fool you; I think the thermometer hit 600 degrees.
Billy and Caitlyn held their wedding at Martha's Orchard, on the west side of Indy who's lush shade trees were very welcomed by everyone who attended. The converted barn was beautifully decorated with gorgeous floral table arrangements and photos from throughout their relationship. I always enjoy seeing the little details tied into a wedding. It is one of my favorite things to shoot throughout the day, so I'm always happy to see what my couples come up with.
Billy and Caitlyn love spending time outdoors which became abundantly clear when we actually shot their engagements while they were camping down at Brown County State Park which you can see by clicking here! They are an adventurous, down home, country couple and their scenic outdoor wedding, wildflower centerpieces, and cowboy boot wearing bride and bridesmaids really encompassed who they are.
Caitlyn and Billy were so incredibly easy to work with. They treated me like family while also allowing me to be a fly on the wall in order to shoot the most genuine and candid moments of their day. This was a day filled with love and laughter with a couple tears thrown in from their handwritten vows. I was thankful to have been there. I was also thankful the unlimited water.
