Ryan & Jessica's wedding on their family property in New Castle was one of the most incredible days I've had as a wedding photographer. The whole week leading up to their wedding was nothing but rain but somehow the day before the skys cleared and made the whole wedding day perfect. Ryan and Jessica left no details for their wedding to chance. From including their dog, creating custom pint glasses for all the guests, having Big Hoffa's BBQ from Whitestown cater, renting a custom vintage VW bus photobooth, and having Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos take care of the entertainment for the evening. It has never been more clear that a couple wanted their wedding day packed with as much fun as possible for not only themselves but their guests. Ryan and Jessica's wedding is one I won't soon forget!
The Story of Tracy and Duran's Wedding Reshoot
Tracy and Duran got married 5 years ago and never received their wedding photos. After Tracy's grandfather recently passed away I gathered up some of Indianapolis's best wedding vendors to all pitch in and give back to a deserving couple who found themselves in a horrible situation.

Billy & Jessicas's Glacier Gardens Juneau Alaska Wedding
Shooting a wedding in Alaska had some challenges for this Indianapolis Wedding Photographer. There is a fine line between bringing too much and too little gear and when you have to carry everything yourself the less the better. Not being familiar with the location is both exciting and scary. And there are so many more things that make travling for a wedding a bit more stressful than local weddings. But once I landed and I meet them face to face all those worries melted away. Together they have this quality that puts you at ease. They make you feel welcomed in this strange yet incredibly beautiful land. When I meet the bridal party it all made sense. They have surrounded themselves with people who are just like them and would anything for you at the drop of a hat. It was so incredible to be able to be apart of Billy and Jessica's first day as husband and wife together.
Jacob & Nicole's Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve Engagement Session
Jacob and Nicole's engagement session almost didn't happen thanks to the unpredictable force of nature that is summer rainstorms in Indiana. When their session had started, it was still raining but Nicole and Jacob are the worlds best troopers and said "If your camera will survive the rain, we will too!" so we adventured off into the woods and I'm so glad we did because their engagement photos turned out incredible!

Sam & Alex's Homestead 1835 Wedding
Alex and Sam's wedding this past weekend was undeniably the hottest wedding I have ever shot. You would think that spending 8 hours in the 100F heat and 1000& humidity would be miserable but incredibly it was the exact opposite. Alex and Sam were surrounded by so much love from friends and family who were over the moon to watch them tie the knot that the energy was off the charts. The accumulated energy was magnetic. The Laughter, the dancing, the emotional tears. All of it just seemed to make the usually oppressive heat a non issue. Its clear that Alex and Sam have worked hard not only on their own relationship but with the relationships between family and their friends. Their wedding was lighting in a bottle.
